Finchampstead/Vic's House

I decide to fly up to Finchampstead, as this is
about as close as I can get to home without overflying built-up areas. Vic (the
boss) lives there so I choose to use his house and fields as a target point.
Visibility
isn't wonderful but OK on the outbound route. I have to slip between the Odiham
and Aldermaston zones. The fields are also smaller and fewer which means less
emergency landing opportunities, which makes it a little more uncomfortable.
Passing north of Bramley and south of Risely I get to Finchampstead, but miss
it and overshoot - when I realise it is wrong I head back in the direction I
think it should be and then find it. A bit of an orbit around Vic's mansion,
and I'm back off home again.
Viz on the way home is horrible as I'm flying into
the Sun through the haze, but get back OK. Practice a few steep banked turns
near Hannington and then back home to Popham.
