Cold and Misty
It's damned cold today and takes ages to get the plane warmed up. Visibility was forecast to be not very good today, but once in the air - it was even worse. Not so very long ago this would have freaked me, but today I'm feeling braver, so I decide to fly around the playground.
I'm only flying where I know where I am; but more importantly, how to get back. I'm also keeping a very keen lookout. I fly up to Hannington, west to the A34 and then down to Bullington; can't go very high, because the vis just disappears. East to the airfield for a deadside join.
Not an exciting journey but good experience
