Yet More Practice
Just got back off holiday, so just going for a bit of practice today. Weather is not ideal, with a scattered low cloud base and some light showers here and there.
Take off on 26 and head off to the northwest and climb to 3000' in a gap in the clouds. However, it closes in and I have to drop down to 2000. I see Jac and follow her (at very safe distance towards Highclere, where she turns north, but I decide to go and find the windfarm marked on the chart - it turns out to be a single windmill (not a very big one). Then after a bit of messing around I head back to the airfield. Just enough cloudbase for an overhead join and follow it up with a couple of extra circuits.
A reasonable flight punctuated with the occasional rapid drop to get below the odd cloud.
