Practice

Haven't been up for over three weeks so I'm getting a bit twitchy. Not only because I'm worried about getting rusty, but I miss it.

This is also my first chance of an evening flight after work, this year. The very changeable weather we have been having recently has cleared up lovely this evening. Circuit practice would be best I think.

After prep, I'm off on 21 behind a GA aircraft. Unfortunately he goes far too far north on the downwind leg and I'm forced to follow him some of the way and slow-up to give seperation. A touch-and-go, and I'm off round again, I do a go-around this time. I'm letting it get out of balance and not using my feet enough. But then it is my least favourite aircraft because the rudder controls are so stiff. Another three circuits and I'm happy with the circuits and landings. For some variety I then fly off up towards Hannington Mast. Can't be too long as the airfield closes at 8. An overhead join, circuit and a lovely landing.
