Practice with Tom

Tom (one of the syndicate members) has been away in America for a while and has missed a lot of the fun. He is back now, so Ian and I agreed to meet him at the airfield to chat about the plane and give some tips or insights that we learnt whilst doing our difference training - he still has this to go. I leave work early.

When I get to the airfield, Ian and Tom have got G-UFOX out and were just about to go flying with Ian at the helm (obviously). I kick around for a while. Then I see it returning and joining the circuit, but I'm surprised when it seems to be going all over the place. It turns out that after joining, they changed the circuit direction, so Ian had to abort and rejoin.

We have a good chat and after this I get to go flying and take Tom with me. I take off from 21 and then climb towards the north. First I demonstrate the plane a little, then a few tight turns. Then I give Tom a go from the right seat - he seems to enjoy this.

Once we have finished playing, we return to the airfield, where I do a couple of circuits and then land.
