Exercise: 12, 13 & 17b
Just a single solo evening lesson today for a bit of necessary practice.
I head off to the north towards Hannington. I start with orbiting a fixed point. When I realise (as I have probably been told before) that the best approach is not to concentrate on the centre point, but to visualise your path in a circle and follow that - a small distinction but very helpful. I then do some steep banked turns that go quite well and also one PFL. All too soon it's time to return to the airfield for a couple of circuits.
Still not perfect but feels a bit better.
